A Book For Every Christian's Bookshelf!

I was blog surfing one day and came across a blog hosting a giveaway of a book. I read the review/testimony and knew I wanted to look into this book more. The blog hostess was pro-choice, but after receiving her copy of this book, "The Miracle of Me" by Amy Pedersen and reading it, she reevaluated her stance.

Amy Pedersen put this book together when she could not find simple, adequate books on baby development during her own pregnancy. This book is unique in that her simple, lovely week-by-week poetry is written as if the growing baby inside is speaking to you. The book features beautiful pictures of a real, in utero baby growing.

This book is an excellent gift for moms-to-be, but it is also suitable for teaching children about a growing baby. It also can be used as a straightforward, lovely resource for pro-life awareness. You'd be surprised at how many women don't realize just how real and developed an unborn baby is so early on in the pregnancy. So many think the baby is just a "glob of tissue."

As I read through the book, I felt my heart swelling with even more love for my children. Tears began to flow as I read each and every weekly miracle of a growing, unborn baby. This is truly a remarkable book.
